08. Farrukh Nagar Fort
Built in the year 1732 by the Mughal emperor Faujdar Khan, the Farrukhnagar fort is the quintessential Mughal structure, adorned by various designs dating back to the said era. Featuring an octagonal shape, the fort is also home to one of the most distinguished bastions in the country. The fort was in ruins up until 2009, when some reconstruction was done to it by INTACH.

09. Mata Sheetala Devi Temple
Installed as a tribute to Kripi, the wife of Dronacharya, the Sheetla Mata temple is one of the most culturally rich places to visit in Gurgaon. She was believed to be a dedicated healer who devoted herself to the service of ill children, those suffering from smallpox, in specific.
This earned her the title of Mata i.e. mother, as she was affectionately called by the villagers. Dating back to the 18th century, the temple was built by Jawahar Singh of Bharatpur. It was built as a sign of his victory over the Mughals, a blessing that he sought from Mata Sheetla.
